Patrice Bergeron Helps Denna Laing Appeal

The B's star is stepping up to help a fellow Boston player in need

As Boston Pride's Denna Laing begins her recovery from a serious injury suffered on New Year's Eve playing for the Pride at the Women's Winter Classic,  the hockey world is uniting in support behind her.

Latest to do so is the Bruins' assistant captain Patrice Bergeron, who is showing some solidarity and support for his fellow Boston player with a truly gigantic raffle prize.

Bergeron has donated the use of his personal suite at TD Garden as the prize for a raffle aimed at raising as much as possible for the Denna Laing Fund.

Winners will have the use of Bergeron's suite for the Anaheim Ducks' visit to Boston on January 26th. The prize includes 12 tickets, food during the game and a meet-and-greet with Patrice afterwards. All proceeds from ticket sales go to the fund set up to provide support for Denna and her family.

Tickets are 5 dollars. You can enter the raffle here.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime prize for a great cause. Dig deep, New England.
