The Boston Blades Announce Their 2015-2016 Schedule

Home games are weighted toward 2015.

On Monday, the Blades revealed the finalized schedule for their upcoming season.

The Blades will spend most of 2015 at home, including the entire month of December, with only two home games scheduled after the new year.

The team opens up the season on Oct. 17 in Toronto. Their home opener comes two weeks later on Oct. 31 against Calgary.

The Halloween game will be the club's inaugural game at their new home arena, the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Mass, after playing at the Clark Athletic Center at UMass Boston last season.

Four of the Blades' home games will be played at other arenas. On Nov. 1, the Blades will face of against Calgary at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell. Students of the school will receive free admission and River Hawks season ticket holders will get a discount.

The following week, on Nov. 14, the Blades will play Brampton at the Boch Ice Center in Dedham, Mass. for military appreciation night. To mark the occasion, the team will wear special camo jerseys during the game.

The Thunder will play Boston again on Dec. 6 at the Rodman Arena in Walpole, Mass.

The Blades' final home game of the season, on Jan. 17, will be played at the Waterville Valley Ice Arena in Waterville Valley, NH. After the team faces off with Montreal, their fans will receive discounted admission to local ski resorts.
