Remember earlier today when Nazem Kadri was one of those guys you’d hate by the end of the series?
It didn’t take until the end of the series.
This is complete garbage from Kadri. pic.twitter.com/1b0FaB6Jks

Kadri came from about 50 feet across the ice to hit Tommy Wingels, who was on his knees, in the head.
Leafs fans will probably argue that Wingels started it with an elbow on Mitch Marner; however, there’s no excuse for coming across the ice and smashing a guy’s head into the boards with your hip.
This came a couple minutes after the Bruins went up 4-1, and a few more minutes after Kadri was penalized for boarding Wingels at the other end of the ice.
Kadri was given a major for charging and a game misconduct.
What do you think? Suspension worthy, right?
UPDATE (10:12 PM): Yeah, this isn’t much of a defense, Kadri.
Nazem Kadri: “I was committed to the hit and he ended up falling. ... It’s in the hands of the NHL at this point.”

A update on Wingels’ condition:
Cassidy: "Wingels is still being evaluated." Said he agreed with five-minute major call against Kadri.
