Highlights: Bruins fumble, stumble and force themselves into a Game 7

Too many mistakes and too much hero hockey. Hey, at least the Garden gets an extra game!

Things started out OK for the Bruins, as Jake DeBrusk got them on the board off of a faceoff. Nice! 1-0 Bruins.

Ah, not as nice. After Tuukka Rask and Zdeno Chara fumble the exchange, William Nylander scores to tie it up about 30 seconds after DeBrusk’s goal. 1-1 tie.

The Leafs appeared to take the lead shortly after Nylander’s goal, but Zach Hyman’s goal was overturned due to goalie interference. Still 1-1.

Brad Marchand fumbles a loose puck, Torey Krug tries to fly the zone early, and Tuukka Rask can’t make a big save as Mitch Marner gives the Leafs the lead. 2-1 Leafs.

Tomas Plekanec (THE WORST) ices it with an empty-netter. A terribly disappointing effort from the Bruins. 3-1 Leafs.

And that’s it! The Bruins laid another egg with a chance to win the series.

Are they egged out, or should we expect another disappointment Wednesday? At this point, it’s hard to tell.
