Brittany Ott Returns to the Boston Pride

Time to Continue Fearing the Otter

Today the Boston Pride announced news that leaves the rest of the league fearing the Otter for at least one more season. The Pride signed the reigning Best Goaltender Brittany Ott to a one-year deal worth $18,000; as compared to the $17,000 she made the previous season. The signing has been met by enthusiasm by both team officials and fans.

Last season Ott had the first shutout in League history, which stood up as the only one in the regular season. She also led the league in GAA and wins; she was second in save percentage behind Jaime Lennoff.

Ott looks to win her third consecutive professional championship in her fourth professional season, having won the Clarkson Cup in the CWHL her second year and then led the Pride to the inaugural Isobel Cup last season.
