Defenseman Mark Stuart will miss the next 4-6 weeks with a broken sternum. Stuart suffered the injury late in the game against the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday. Fellow defenseman Dennis Wideman is also nursing an undisclosed injury. The Bruins announced today that they have signed Max Sauve to a 3-year entry level deal. The 19 year old center was selected by the B's in the 2nd round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. He has been playing with Val-d'Or Foreurs of the QMJHL this season and has recorded 33 points (12-21-33) in 23 games.

GM Peter Chiarelli announced that the Bruins have signed 5 members of their coaching staff to a multi-year extension.
