Mark Divver, top-notch Providence Bruins beat reporter, is reporting that Matt Fraser has been called up and that Justin Florek is back in Providence this morning.

No word if Fraser will play, but it's an interesting switch. Here he is scoring a goal against Martin Jones of the Monarchs from the crease earlier this year:
And here he is scoring a goal against the LA Kings:
Fraser came over in the Peverley trade. He played in 14 games with Boston this year, and scored 2 goals. Both were off delightful Soderberg assists. Here are his stats for this year:
2013-14 | GP | G | A | P | +/- | PIM | PP | SH | S | S% |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Boston Bruins | 14 | 2 | 0 | 2 | 0 | 10 | 0 | 0 | 13 | 15.4 |
Providence Bruins | 44 | 20 | 10 | 30 | 0 | 34 | 9 | 0 | 122 | 16.4 |
If the Bruins are looking for someone to get in Carey Price's kitchen, Fraser should do well. Or it may be that Florek messed up Chiarelli's coffee order. We'll see.
