Paul Carey made his Bruins debut last night, with the Providence Bruins facing the Springfield Thunderbirds out in Western Massachusetts.
Carey made a splash, scoring the game-winning goal with just over a minute left in the third period.

A great finish in a big spot! The P-Bruins actually were up 3-0 in this game, but they gave up three goals in a row, including one with the Springfield net empty.
Carey’s goal salvaged the win for Providence. He also assisted on Peter Cehlarik’s second period goal.
Carey appeared to spend most of the night on a line with Cehlarik and Gemel Smith, which is a decent amount of talent for an AHL line.
Two points in his first game? Welcome to the Bruins organization!
