The Providence Bruins announced today that forward Jordan Szwarz has been named to the AHL All-Star team.

Szwarz, who bounced between Boston and Providence last season, leads the P-Bruins with 14 goals.

Overall, he's put up 14 goals and 9 assists, good for 23 points in 36 games.

Szwarz had a decent stint with the big club last season, playing in 12 games and recording 3 assists.

The AHL All-Star Game (they're actually calling it the All-Star Challenge) is on Monday night at 7, with a Skills Competition Sunday night at that same time.
