<p>Iginla got his 600th assist, Paille scored on a breakaway...everything was great!</p> <h4><a href="http://www.extraskater.com/game/2014-02-04-canucks-bruins" target="_blank">Extra Skater Stats</a></h4>
<p>The <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.stanleycupofchowder.com/">Bruins</a> improve to 7-2-1 in their last 10, the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.nucksmisconduct.com/">Canucks</a> drop five straight, the Bruins get their first win over the Canucks since game 7 in 2011...all in all a good night. <span>Milan Lucic</span> and the KIL line got the first goal, with <span>Jarome Iginla</span> getting his 600th assist of his career. The Bruins were actually outchanced for most of the game, but <span>Tuukka Rask</span> made a number of incredibly great saves and the Bruins were able to capitalize on some well-timed turnovers. Iginla from, Chara and Lucic struck again in the second, giving Iginla and Lucic each a two-point night.</p>
<p><span>Raphael Diaz</span> (hahahahaha) scored the Canucks' lone goal in the second, and <span>Brad Marchand</span> almost scored immediately after - the goal, however, was overturned. Daniel Paille struck back in the third - on a breakaway! - after <span>Johnny Boychuk</span> did amazing work in the defensive zone.</p>
<p>The Bruins failed to get the empty-netter when Tortorella pulled <span>Roberto Luongo</span> late in the third, but - who cares! The Bruins won 3-1.</p>
<h4>The Good:</h4>
<p>- DANIEL PAILLE BREAKAWAY.</p>
<p>- The KIL line continues to be incredible; arguably the best line in the NHL.</p>
<p>- Johnny Boychuk, what a night. He had pretty average numbers - about even O and D zone deployment, corsifor% under 50, but he was a one-man destruction machine. His work in the defensive zone lead directly to <span>Daniel Paille's</span> goal, an amazing pass from the defensive blueline to spring Paille for the goal.</p>
<h4>The Bad:</h4>
<p>- Brad Marchand, trying way too hard after that called-back goal. Didn't look good, but didn't do anything particularly stupid either, so...whatever, that's fine.</p>
<p>- Tonight was Zdeno Chara's last game for the Bruins until after the Olympics.</p>
<h4>The Interesting:</h4>
<p>- 600 assists for Jarome Iginla. What a guy. Never leave, please.</p>
<h4><span>Notable Moments:</span></h4>

<h4>Game Notes:</h4>
<ul>
<li>This is not a rivalry.</li>
<li>No, really, stop trying to make the rivalry thing happen. It's never going to happen.</li>
<li>JOHN TORTORELLA IS BACK! Likely that will be the big story of the night, next to the fact that...</li>
<li>Vancouver traded for <span>Raphael Diaz</span> yesterday! So he will likely be in the lineup for them tonight. </li>
<li>Tuukka Rask will be starting in net, according to morning skate. </li>
<li>Last time these two teams met, my brother was getting married so I missed the game. It totally wasn't a 6-1 blowout or anything, right? .....right?</li>
<li>The Bruins are 72-29-15 all time against the Canucks. They've played two games since the <a href="http://www.sbnation.com/stanley-cup-final" class="sbn-auto-link">Stanley Cup FInals</a> and the Bruins have lost both. Will tonight be the streakbreaker??</li>
<li>Vancouver has lost four games in a row. That's...not good.</li>
</ul>
<h4>NEVER FORGET:</h4>
<p>This will never not be funny.</p>

<p>Why should BuzzFeed have all the fun? Get pumped up for tomorrow night's game against Vancouver with 30 glorious frames per second of various Bruins-Canucks happenings. </p> <p>The Bruins will host Vancouver tomorrow night in the two teams' second game at the Garden since Game 6 of the 2011 Final.</p>
<p>The first regular season game after the Final was such a doozy that Canucks fans organized a forum-based movement to <a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/dafoomie/status/430434558119792640">get dafoomie's highlights of the game removed from YouTube.</a></p>
<p>Yes, serious business.</p>
<p>So in the spirit of taking a look back, here's a GIF recap of some great moments in recent Bruins-Canucks history.</p>
<p><i>Note: dafoomie always uploads the best Bruins moments in HD, much better than the NHL's official service. </i><a target="_blank" href="http://www.youtube.com/user/dafoomie">Check out his channel</a><i> and </i><a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/dafoomie">Twitter account,</a><i> because many GIFs were created from his videos.</i></p>
<p>Here's Tim Thomas, in top playoff form, stoning Mason Raymond:</p>

<p>Some German-on-German violence:</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">This old woman was having the time of her life after a Rich Peverley goal:</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://cdn1.sbnation.com/assets/3952855/oldlady.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="Oldlady_medium" class="photo" src="http://cdn0.sbnation.com/assets/3952855/oldlady_medium.gif"></a></p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Mark Recchi offered Maxim Lapierre a bite to eat.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn1.sbnation.com/assets/3952887/recchit4aunt.gif"><img src="http://cdn3.sbnation.com/assets/3952887/recchit4aunt_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Recchit4aunt_medium"></a> <br id="1391465928246"></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Milan Lucic did the same for Alex Burrows...</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn1.sbnation.com/assets/3952895/lucicfinger.gif"><img src="http://cdn1.sbnation.com/assets/3952895/lucicfinger_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Lucicfinger_medium"></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">...but only after making sure Burrows' helmet worked well (with his fist).</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn0.sbnation.com/assets/3952911/lucicpunch.gif"><img src="http://cdn3.sbnation.com/assets/3952911/lucicpunch_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Lucicpunch_medium"></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Tim Thomas pretended he was chopping wood, but with Alex Burrows' leg...</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn2.sbnation.com/assets/3952927/thomasburrows.gif"><img src="http://cdn0.sbnation.com/assets/3952927/thomasburrows_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Thomasburrows_medium"></a> <br id="1391466347146"></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">...and then he tackled a Sedin, because why not?</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn1.sbnation.com/assets/3952935/thomascheck.gif"><img src="http://cdn2.sbnation.com/assets/3952935/thomascheck_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Thomascheck_medium"></a> <br id="1391466439853"></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Shawn Thornton yelled his favorite chili recipe across the ice to Ryan Kesler.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn1.sbnation.com/assets/3952943/thorntonmad.gif"><img src="http://cdn2.sbnation.com/assets/3952943/thorntonmad_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Thorntonmad_medium"></a> <br id="1391466509854"></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">"DAMN IT! I SAID TO USE GROUND TURKEY, NOT BEEF!"</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn3.sbnation.com/assets/3952951/thorntongloves.gif"><img src="http://cdn3.sbnation.com/assets/3952951/thorntongloves_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Thorntongloves_medium"></a> <br id="1391466597284"></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Speaking of Shawn Thornton, remember that time Dale Weise hid from him?</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn2.sbnation.com/assets/3952967/weise.gif"><img src="http://cdn3.sbnation.com/assets/3952967/weise_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Weise_medium"></a> <br id="1391466690707"></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">And it took six Canucks to contain him? What a monster.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn1.sbnation.com/assets/3952969/canucksjump.gif"><img src="http://cdn1.sbnation.com/assets/3952969/canucksjump_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Canucksjump_medium"></a> <br id="1391466706003"></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Claude Julien occasionally has questions for the refs during these games.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn2.sbnation.com/assets/3952983/claude.gif"><img src="http://cdn0.sbnation.com/assets/3952983/claude_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Claude_medium"></a> <br id="1391466819740"></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Andrew Ference had some ginger beard conversation with a Sedin.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn2.sbnation.com/assets/3952999/ferencetrash.gif"><img src="http://cdn2.sbnation.com/assets/3952999/ferencetrash_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Ferencetrash_medium"></a> <br id="1391466895486"></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Let us all pause to remember Milan Lucic turning Kevin Bieksa into a traffic cone.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn3.sbnation.com/assets/3953007/lucicbieksa.gif"><img src="http://cdn3.sbnation.com/assets/3953007/lucicbieksa_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Lucicbieksa_medium"></a> <br id="1391466915540"></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">However, no player in these games is more interesting to watch than Brad Marchand. He likes to do things like this:</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn2.sbnation.com/assets/3953023/marchandring.gif"><img src="http://cdn0.sbnation.com/assets/3953023/marchandring_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Marchandring_medium"></a> <br id="1391467050319"></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">And this:</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn3.sbnation.com/assets/3953031/marchandcup.gif"><img src="http://cdn2.sbnation.com/assets/3953031/marchandcup_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Marchandcup_medium"></a> <br id="1391467059800"></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">And this:</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn1.sbnation.com/assets/3953039/marchanddump.gif"><img src="http://cdn3.sbnation.com/assets/3953039/marchanddump_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Marchanddump_medium"></a> <br id="1391467168284"></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">He also owns the worldwide high score in Punch-A-Swede.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn2.sbnation.com/assets/3953063/marchandpunch.gif"><img src="http://cdn2.sbnation.com/assets/3953063/marchandpunch_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Marchandpunch_medium"></a> <br id="1391467305446"></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">But he's also good for plays like this one. Roberto Luongo still has nightmares about his wrist shot.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn2.sbnation.com/assets/3953079/marchandgoal.gif"><img src="http://cdn0.sbnation.com/assets/3953079/marchandgoal_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Marchandgoal_medium"></a> <br id="1391467445393"></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">It's been fun though, Vancouver. Mainly because of this Patrice Bergeron goal.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn3.sbnation.com/assets/3953087/bergeroncupwinner.gif"><img src="http://cdn1.sbnation.com/assets/3953087/bergeroncupwinner_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Bergeroncupwinner_medium"></a> <br id="1391467456766"></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">All's well that ends well, right? Right.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a target="_blank" href="http://cdn2.sbnation.com/assets/3953103/characup.gif"><img src="http://cdn1.sbnation.com/assets/3953103/characup_medium.gif" class="photo" alt="Characup_medium"></a> <br id="1391467467485"></p>
